St.Valentine's Day Ottoman!

Before this point I tore the piece down,  tapped out the joints, reguled them and let it sit overnight. Then i restrapped it, added a layer of burlap and the horse hair and cotton (original stuffings). Then i put on this lining fabric to draw out the shape.

Also I refinished the wood on the legs to get the scratch marks and whatever else off.
This customer wanted a hump on this piece so a full coat of cotton!
Then pulled away from the edge to draw out the edge of the piece.

A nice cherry red velvet for final fabric!!
And some decorative tacks to finish it all up!

Upholstered Walls

In the shop we decided that we want to try out upholstered walls! So we took plywood/ pressed wood panels, added a thin layer of cotton and some nice fabric and made it up! The whole wall with cotton and fabric on it really quiets the shop down.

Then we marked where we wanted a pattern with darker panels, added 1'" foam to them to get the depth effect and put on a nice dark green floral fabric.

Yogurt Work

These are some seat cushions and backs my instructor and i did for a local Frozen Yogurt Shop thats opening up in town.

The Wider cushions are the back cushions and the thinner ones are the seat cushions.

Small Leather Man Satchel

This is a leather man satchel that i did. I had to pattern one that was already made but in poor conidition. Then i made this one off the pattern.

Long Cushion for A Twin Sized Day Bed

This is a cushion i made for a day bed at my house for guests when they stay over. I used 4 inch foam and had just enough fabric, less than a yard left!
